Overview & specifications
Motorbike Rock Punk Spike Studded leather Jacket
The Motorbike Rock Punk Spike Studded Leather Jacket is a biker-pattern jacket with hand-set spikes and studs across the shoulders, sleeves and front panels. It comes out of the late-seventies punk tradition, where riders' jackets were bought plain and then covered in hardware by hand. This one is built that way from the start, on real leather heavy enough to carry the metal without sagging.
- Material: Real leather with metal spikes and studs
- Fit: Slim biker fit
- Closure: Asymmetrical front zip with belted waist
- Color: Black with silver-tone hardware
- Care: Wipe the leather, dry the hardware after rain, store on a wide hanger
Why the leather has to be heavy for a spiked jacket
Every spike is a small weight held by a single point in the hide. On thin or split leather the metal slowly drags, the holes widen, and the panels start to pucker around each fitting. A spiked jacket only stays flat if the leather has enough substance to carry the load, which is why this one uses a heavier hide than a plain fashion jacket would need.
The spikes are fitted through the panel and closed on the reverse, not glued. Glued hardware comes off; set hardware stays. If a spike ever loosens with heavy wear it can be re-set rather than replaced.
Layout, hardware and the biker pattern underneath
Beneath the studwork this is a proper biker shape: asymmetric zip, wide lapels that fold back or snap down, zipped cuffs, and a belted waist. That pattern exists because it was designed to be worn on a bike — the offset zip stops the closure pressing on the sternum when you lean forward, and the belt keeps wind out at the waist.
The spike layout runs across the shoulder line and down the sleeves, with studs filling the front panels. It is deliberately dense. This is not a subtle jacket and it is not trying to be.
Fit, comfort and honest expectations
The cut is slim, as biker jackets are, and sits at the waist. Allow room for a tee or a thin knit; it is not built for layering a hoodie underneath. Take your normal size for a close fit, or one up if you want to layer.
Two honest notes. The jacket is heavier than an unstudded one because of the hardware — that is unavoidable. And while the pattern comes from motorcycling, this is fashion clothing: it is not certified protective equipment, has no armour pockets, and should not be treated as riding gear.
Made to order, XS to 5XL and custom
Each jacket is made after order in XS to 5XL, plus a Custom option for your own measurements — chest, shoulder, sleeve and back length. Because the hardware is set by hand, spacing may vary very slightly between jackets; each one is genuinely individual. Free shipping, secure checkout, and pricing that reflects the leather and the hours of handwork.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this real leather?
Yes. It is made from real leather, chosen heavier than usual so it can carry the hardware without distorting.
Are the spikes sharp?
They are pointed. Handle the jacket with a little care and be mindful around car seats, furniture and other people.
How heavy is it?
Noticeably heavier than a plain leather jacket. The hardware adds real weight, which is normal for this style.
Can the spikes be removed or changed?
Tell us before ordering. We can often adjust the density or swap spikes for flat studs.
Is it safe to ride in?
No. It is styled on a motorcycle jacket but it is fashion clothing, not certified protective gear.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the leather with a soft cloth and dry the hardware if it gets wet. Do not machine wash or dry clean.
What sizes are available?
XS through 5XL, plus Custom made to your own measurements.
