Overview & specifications

Unique Style Leather skinny pants

These leather skinny pants use panelled construction rather than a plain two-piece leg. Extra seams run across the knee and down the thigh, which is what lets a skinny leather trouser bend properly — every seam is a place the leg can articulate. It is how motorcycle leathers have always been built, borrowed here for a fashion trouser. The result is a close-fitting real leather trouser you can actually sit down in.

  • Material: Real leather
  • Fit: Skinny, panelled for movement
  • Closure: Front zip fly
  • Color: Black
  • Care: Dry cloth only, hang by the waistband, condition twice a year

Why panels matter on a skinny leg

Leather does not stretch. In a close-fitting trouser that becomes a problem the moment you bend a knee, because the material has to come from somewhere. A plain skinny leather trouser solves that by being loose enough not to be skinny, or it pulls uncomfortably.

Panelling solves it properly. By splitting the leg into shaped pieces with seams at the knee and along the thigh, the pattern builds in the shape of a bent leg from the start. That is why these sit close without restricting, and why the knee does not bag out over time the way a plain leather trouser does.

Construction

Seams are stitched flat and topstitched, which is both structural and part of the look — the panel lines are visible and give the trousers their character. Each seam is reinforced, since a panelled trouser puts load on more joins than a plain one.

The waist is a faced waistband with a zip fly and belt loops. Ankles are cut narrow with no zip, so they pull on.

Fit and styling

The fit is genuinely skinny. Take your normal size; go up rather than down if you are between sizes, since there is no stretch. The ankle is narrow, so if you have a higher instep, mention it and we can adjust the opening on a Custom order.

Skinny leather works with volume on top — an oversized knit, a loose shirt, a boxy jacket. Ankle boots or heels finish the line better than a bulky trainer. For a looser leg, see our straight and wide styles in Women Leather Pants; for what to wear on top, our Women Leather Jackets.

Made to order sizing

Each pair is cut after the order is placed, in the size you choose. Standard sizes are XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL, plus Custom. Skinny trousers are the item where custom measurements pay off most — send waist, hip, thigh and inside leg after checkout and we build to those figures at no extra charge. Free worldwide shipping and secure checkout are included.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these real leather?

Yes, real leather throughout.

Why are there extra seams on the legs?

The panelled construction builds the shape of a bent leg into the pattern, which is what lets a skinny leather trouser move comfortably.

Do they stretch?

No. Leather does not stretch, which is exactly why the panelling is there. Size up rather than down if you are between sizes.

Are the ankles zipped?

No, they pull on. If you have a high instep, choose Custom and tell us so we can widen the opening.

Will the knees bag?

Far less than on a plain leather trouser, because the knee seam takes the movement. Hang them by the waistband between wears.

How long until they arrive?

They are made to order. Allow around two weeks including free shipping; tracking is emailed on dispatch.

How do I care for them?

Dry cloth only, hang by the waistband, condition twice a year. Never machine wash or dry clean.

Size & fit

Measure your natural waist, the fullest part of your hips and the inside leg from crotch to ankle. For chaps, also measure your thigh over the trousers you plan to wear.

Use a flexible measuring tape. Keep measurements in one unit: centimetres or inches (1 inch = 2.54 cm). Enter the unit selected in the custom-size form.
