Motorcycle Mens Genuine Leather Biker Vest
This is the vest built with riding specifically in mind. Everything on it answers a problem you only notice on a bike: fasteners that stay closed at speed, an armhole cut high enough that the vest does not creep back off your shoulders, a hem that sits where it should when you are leaned forward, and pockets that hold onto their contents rather than emptying at the first bump.
- Material: Genuine leather
- Fit: Riding fit, cut to sit correctly leaned forward
- Closure: Front fastening
- Color: Black
- Care: Dry cloth, condition twice a year, dry naturally away from heat
Cut for a riding position
A vest cut for standing upright rides up and bunches at the waist the moment you lean onto the bars. This one is cut with a slightly longer back than front, so it stays covering your lower back in a forward position rather than exposing it.
The armholes are set higher than on a fashion waistcoat. That is not about looks — a low armhole lets the vest slide backwards off the shoulders every time you reach forward, which is one of the most common complaints about vests worn on a bike.
Fasteners and pockets
Fasteners are heavy duty and set through reinforced tabs, so they hold under wind pressure and do not tear out of the hide. The hip pockets are set at an angle that stays accessible when seated rather than being pinned under your thighs.
There is an interior pocket inside the front for a wallet or phone, positioned so it does not press against you when leaned forward.
The hide
Genuine leather chosen firm rather than soft. A vest worn on a bike takes wind pressure continuously and abrasion from the seat back constantly, and a soft hide simply does not hold up to either — it sags at the shoulder and stretches at the fastener line within a year.
The back is a single clean panel with no seam across it, which is what you want if club colours or patches are going on later.
Fit and styling
Take your normal size to wear over a shirt or t-shirt. Size up if it goes over a leather jacket, which is how most riders wear it. Armholes are cut to clear a jacket sleeve rather than binding on it.
Over a jacket from our Men Leather Jackets it is the standard riding layer. Off the bike it works over a plain shirt with jeans and boots. See the rest of our Men Leather Vests.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this certified protective gear?
No. It is a leather vest cut for a riding position, not certified protective equipment. It has no armour or armour pockets.
Why are the armholes cut high?
So the vest does not slide backwards off your shoulders every time you reach forward to the bars.
Will it ride up when I lean forward?
The back is cut slightly longer than the front to stop that.
Can I add club colours to the back?
Yes. The back is a single clean panel with no seam across it, and the hide is heavy enough to take stitching.
What size should I order?
Your normal size over a shirt or tee, one size up to wear over a leather jacket. Custom sizing is free.
Is the leather real?
Yes, genuine leather chosen firm enough to handle wind pressure and seat-back abrasion.
How do I care for it?
Wipe with a dry cloth, dry naturally away from heat if it gets wet, condition twice a year. Never machine wash.
