Black Lambskin Perfecto Spike-Stud Biker Jacket
The Black Lambskin Perfecto Spike-Stud Biker Jacket puts spikes on the softest leather we use, which is a more interesting combination than it first appears. The perfecto is the original asymmetric biker pattern; lambskin makes it drape rather than stand; the spikes then sit against a surface that moves with you.
- Material: Genuine lambskin leather with metal spikes
- Fit: Slim to regular fit, women's cut
- Closure: Asymmetrical front zip with belted waist
- Color: Black with silver-tone spikes
- Care: Wipe gently, avoid rough surfaces, condition twice a year
What a perfecto is
The perfecto is the original motorcycle jacket pattern — asymmetric zip running diagonally across the chest, wide fold-back lapels, a buckled belt at the waist, zipped cuffs. It was designed in the 1920s for riders and has barely changed since, because there was nothing left to fix.
The offset zip keeps the closure off the sternum when leaning forward; the belt seals the hem against wind; the lapels snap flat at speed. Every feature had a purpose.
Lambskin and spikes together
Lambskin is thin and supple — leather from a young sheep, with a finer fibre structure than cowhide. It drapes close to the body and needs no breaking in.
That softness is worth knowing about with hardware. Spikes on a stiff hide sit rigid; on lambskin the panels move, so the spike layout here is kept controlled rather than dense — too much weight on thin leather causes puckering over time. It is a deliberately restrained spike jacket, and it is far more comfortable to wear than a heavy one.
Fit, care and honest notes
Cut on a women's block — narrower shoulder, shorter sleeve, hem at the waist. Take your normal size over a tee or fine knit, one up for a knit.
Honest points. Lambskin is chosen for feel, not abrasion resistance: keep it off rough walls and rucksack straps. And this is fashion clothing styled on motorcycle jackets — not certified protective equipment and not riding gear.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a perfecto?
The original 1920s motorcycle jacket pattern — asymmetric zip, wide lapels, buckled waist belt.
Is lambskin real leather?
Yes — genuine leather from a young sheep, finer and thinner than cowhide.
Why are the spikes not denser?
Lambskin is thin. Heavy hardware on thin leather causes puckering over time, so the layout is kept controlled.
Is lambskin durable?
Less abrasion-resistant than cowhide. It is chosen for softness — keep it off rough surfaces and it lasts many years.
Can I ride in it?
No. It is fashion clothing, not certified protective equipment.
How do I care for it?
Wipe gently with a soft cloth and condition once or twice a year.
Do you offer custom sizing?
Yes — XS to 5XL plus Custom to your own measurements.
Size & fit
Measure your chest or bust at the fullest point, natural waist, shoulder width and sleeve length. Allow for the clothing you plan to wear underneath when discussing fit.
Use a flexible measuring tape. Keep measurements in one unit: centimetres or inches (1 inch = 2.54 cm). Enter the unit selected in the custom-size form.
How to take body measurements
Ask another person to help. Keep the tape level and comfortably snug. Record your body measurements without adding extra room.
- 5 — Chest / bust: around the fullest part, under the arms.
- 6 — Waist: around the natural waistline.
- 7 — Hips: around the fullest part.
- 15 — Sleeve: from shoulder to wrist with the elbow slightly bent.
- 19 — Inseam: from crotch to ankle.
