Overview & specifications
Built for the track. Ready for the street. The Alpinestars GP Plus V2 Sprint is a one-piece leather motorcycle racing suit engineered for riders who refuse to compromise between protection and performance. Whether you're pushing lap times or carving through open roads, this suit is built to keep up — and keep you safe when it matters most.
Why the GP Plus V2 Sprint Stands Out
Most racing suits offer protection or comfort. The GP Plus V2 Sprint delivers both. Its pre-curved ergonomic construction follows your natural riding posture from the moment you throw a leg over the bike — no break-in period, no restriction, just immediate control and confidence.
The full-grain leather shell provides class-leading abrasion resistance, while CE-rated armor at the shoulders, elbows, knees, and shins ensures critical impact zones are covered. The integrated aerodynamic back hump improves airflow at speed while adding an extra layer of upper-body protection.
Key Features
- Full-grain leather construction — superior abrasion resistance for high-speed impact scenarios
- CE-rated impact armor — shoulders, elbows, knees, and shins protected at every critical zone
- Pre-curved ergonomic fit — designed for aggressive riding posture without restricting movement
- Accordion stretch panels — full mobility through corners and body position changes
- Aerodynamic back hump — reduces drag and enhances upper-body safety
- Perforated leather panels — airflow management for extended track sessions and warm-weather riding
- Heavy-duty YKK zipper system — smooth, secure, and built for long-term use
- Secure wrist, ankle, and collar closures — no gaps, no exposure
Who This Suit Is Built For
The GP Plus V2 Sprint is the right choice if you ride with intent. It suits track day regulars, sportbike riders who push hard on the street, and anyone who understands that the right gear isn't optional — it's the difference between walking away and not.
Available in male and female sizing from XS (US 38 / EU 48) through 4XL (US 52 / EU 62).
How to Care for Your Leather Racing Suit
A leather racing suit is a long-term investment. To maintain its protective properties and appearance:
- Apply leather conditioner regularly to prevent cracking and stiffness
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Use a breathable cloth bag — never store in plastic or vinyl
- For deep cleaning, consult a leather care specialist
Size & fit
Measure your chest or bust, waist, hips, sleeve, inseam and height with help from another person. Check both standing and riding posture when discussing a custom suit.
Use a flexible measuring tape. Keep measurements in one unit: centimetres or inches (1 inch = 2.54 cm). Enter the unit selected in the custom-size form.
How to take body measurements
Ask another person to help. Keep the tape level and comfortably snug. Record your body measurements without adding extra room.
- 5 — Chest / bust: around the fullest part, under the arms.
- 6 — Waist: around the natural waistline.
- 7 — Hips: around the fullest part.
- 15 — Sleeve: from shoulder to wrist with the elbow slightly bent.
- 19 — Inseam: from crotch to ankle.
